My name is Raul Macchia. I was born in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and moved to the United States with my family at the age of seven. We first settled in Southern California before relocating to San Antonio during my freshman year of high school. I pursued my nursing education at UT Health, earning both my BSN and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), which I completed in 2023. My clinical background includes experience in trauma surgery, where I’ve cared for patients facing life-altering injuries. San Antonio is also where I met my wife, and together we’re raising two energetic boys who keep us busy. Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, visiting loved ones in California, and staying active through regular workouts and a healthy lifestyle.
